Computing and Processing

The terms "computing" and "processing" are often used interchangeably. 

"Computing" involves numbers and algorithms while "processing" can involve number and algorithms or anything else. 

Technically "computing" is always processing, but processing is not always "computing"

Computing and processing can be broken into four general sections

  • Input
  • Processing
  • Storage
  • Output
